Rye Cricket Club Support Stephen, March 21, 2011November 4, 2015 The Jempson Foundation recently presented Rye Cricket Club with a £250 donation to support the running of their Colts winter training programme. Martin Blincow the clubs Hon. Secretary said ‘Rye Cricket Club is grateful for the support of the Jempson Foundation for it’s Winter Coaching Programme. The club has over 40 young people involved on Thursday evenings, coached by 4 ECB coaches and by 3 youth volunteer coaches. Rye Cricket Club is building a solid foundation for its future in developing young people, The Jempson Foundation can be proud of it’s contribution to the local community where the Cricket Club is rooted’. Stephen Jempson added ‘Rye CC offer opportunities and facilities for young people of Rye and the surrounding villages to practice and play cricket to a high standard. We are delighted to be able to offer our support towards the running of the Junior Section of the club’.
