Oliver Curd Trust Support Stephen, April 7, 2010October 23, 2015 Our Peasmarsh Superstore donated £150 to the local Oliver Curd Trust charity, which in turn was used to provide essential provisions for a sponsored cycle ride from John O’ Groats to Lands End. Jempson’s has been raising money for its local community with the help of the charity ‘Making A Difference – Locally’. Stephen Jempson said ‘The Oliver Curd Trust is a local charity of significant importance to our Peasmarsh community. The objective and purpose of the trust is to help families that are affected by childhood cancer and other life threatening illnesses, and we where only to happy to offer our support to both John Doughty and David Townsend along with their team who are undergoing this epic cycle ride” He continued “The M.A.D.L. charity is a truly wonderful concept, and it will give us the ability to support further charities and good causes that are within the community we are proud to serve”. With the help of the Making A Difference – Locally charity, Jempson’s also contributed £500 to the Rye and District Chamber of Commerce who represents the views of local business in the Cinque Port town, as well as promoting the town and its development.
