Foundation Makes a Difference Locally Stephen, June 24, 2011December 14, 2016 The Foundation recently donated a total of £900 to a number of good causes & organisations within our community. Beneficiaries of our support include Pett Level Rescue Boat Association £250, Beckley Park Cricket Club £100, 2nd Rye Guides £100, Rye Wurlitzer Academy £200, Winchelsea Methodist Chapel £100, Burr Social Club £50 & Battle Arts £100. Stephen Jempson said ‘The Foundation receives its funding via a number of channels, company profits, donations & rebates from key suppliers as well as through the sale of specific products instore branded with the ‘Make A Difference’ emblem’. He continued ‘Every time a purchase is made on an item with this symbol, the manufacturer guarantees to donate a small amount per sales’. He added ‘It’s great to see the positive impact these donations have on our local communities & how much each donation, irrespective of size, makes a difference’. Andrew Jempson said ‘We hope that these donations from the Foundation will help these local good causes continue with the excellent work that they undertake or help with their fundraising for specific project’s.
