Foundation donation to Rother Responders Stephen, August 19, 2013January 26, 2016 The Foundation has contributed £250 to the Rother Responders CFR. The Rother Responder Community First Responders are volunteer members of the community, who are trained to respond to emergency calls through the 999 system in conjunction with the South East Coast Ambulance Service. The primary role of the CFR is to provide life-saving emergency treatment in their local area and was first setup in November 2012. The majority of its members cover Rye and surrounding Rother communities. Jon Padovani, Rother Responders CFR Team Leader said ‘With our scheme currently expanding, we greatly appreciate this kind contribution from The Jempson Foundation as it will help towards the purchasing of the new equipment needed for the volunteers we have joining from the local area’. He continued ‘Each kit including a defibrillator has a cost of £1,400.
