Rye Care Centre Support Stephen, September 20, 2010February 2, 2016 Our Jempson’s/Budgens supermarket in Rye raised over £450 for the town’s Activities, Respite Rehabilitation Care Centre through a number of raffles, collection points and activities throughout the store. The ARRCC provide a dynamic day centre within the Rye community and offers stimulating activities in a supportive and caring environment, and the money raised will help towards the purchase of a vehicle to take its members to hospital appointments and local trips. Rye store manager Andy Jackson said ‘I am so pleased that we are able to support this worthy local organisation. I would like to thank all our customers who made donations and for supporting our various raffles and prize draws’. Andrew Jempson added ‘ The ARRCC is a well loved local charity, and it gives us tremendous pleasure to be able to make this contribution to them’. Margaret Graham from the ARRCC concludes ‘All ARRCC members are very grateful to Jempson’s/Budgens, their staff and local people who have supported us’.
