Memorial Fund Presentation

Stephen, August 4, 2010October 21, 2015

Our Battle supermarket raised £200 from a raffle on their recent 75th Anniversary Fun Day.

The money has been donated to the Daniel Gamble Memorial Fund, who will use the funds for a much needed new War Memorial flag pole.

Mrs. Georgina Gamble said “We are very thankful to Jempson’s/Budgens for their donation, and greatly appreciate their support”.

Adam Johnson from the store added “It gives us great pleasure to offer our support, we are absolutely thrilled that we have been able to raise all the money required for the cost of replacing their memorial flag pole. We would like to thank all of those that kindly donated prizes for our raffle”.
