Macmillan Nurses Stephen, January 22, 2010October 23, 2015 Jempson’s have helped to raise £322.52 for Macmillan Cancer Support with donations received from customers and staff from their nominated charity at the Peasmarsh Superstore. The donation will go to the Hastings centre at The Conquest Hospital and will be used to go towards the cost of enabling patients to be treated there instead of having to travel to London to receive care. Doreen Upwood a local Macmillan volunteer said ‘I would like to thank everyone who donated, Jempson’s for its help and to the staff for nominating Macmillan as their chosen charity, it is very much appreciated’. Andrew Jempson said ‘Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer, their work is invaluable, and Jempson’s are proud and honoured to have them as an adopted charity’.
